Tom Portelli was admitted to practice in 1964 after completing his law degree at Melbourne University. He commenced practising at 127 Carinish Road, Clayton in February, 1965 and has been practising from the same premises since that date. From the time Tom commenced practise, he was for a number of years a Senior Teaching Fellow at Monash University Law School. 37 years not only as a Solicitor, but also as a member of the Clayton Rotary Club for 36 years. Tom has extensive experience in litigation, including all civil litigation in the Supreme Court, County Court and Magistrates Court. Further, he has a proven history of good results in the Magistrates Court in relation to Criminal offences. Tom has considerable experience in Wills and Probate Matters, Commercial business (sales and acquisitions) Commercial Leases, Conveyancing (Sales and Purchases), and all property law matters, including strata subdivisions and other applications involving the Land Titles Office. Toms approach is pragmatic, with an aim for a resolution that is the most effective, and the least expensive to his clients.
